Adani targets 10 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity by 2025 | Rahul Bhutiani
Adani Group plans to invest USD 70 billion for setting up 3 giga factories for manufacturing solar modules, wind turbines, and hydrogen electrolyzers. Adani Solar, the solar PV manufacturing arm of Adani Group, also plans to enhance its solar module manufacturing capacity to 10 GW.
In an exclusive interview with mojo4industry on the sidelines of Renewable Energy India Expo 2022, Rahul Bhutiani, Head – Sales and Marketing, Adani Solar reveals, “We will be producing up to 10 GW of modules every year starting from 2025 a very significant portion of that will be sold within India.”
Sharing his predictions for the solar sector in 2023, Mr. Bhutiani said, “Adani has always been a market leader and have maintained a significant market share in the retail side. We will continue to do that because we truly believe that is how we will serve the country best.”
