Atlas Copco appoints Shalini Sharma as new GM to lead Brand Studio in India
Atlas Copco Group, a leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, announced the appointment of Shalini Sharma as the new General Manager for its Brand Studio in India.
“Shalini is the first Indian woman to be appointed as a General Manager within the company, marking a significant milestone in Atlas Copco’s commitment to fostering diversity and leadership,” the company said.
Frans Van Niekerk, Managing Director of Atlas Copco India, expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, stating, “We are delighted to see Shalini step into this crucial role. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of our brand make her the perfect leader to guide our communication efforts.”
As the new General Manager of the Brand Studio, Shalini will oversee all aspects of brand strategy, creative direction, and digital communications. She shared her thoughts on the new role, saying, “Having been a part of the Atlas Copco family for over a decade, I am honoured to take on this new challenge.
