Captain Electrical to set up new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra
The new factory will produce its new range of premium products called AVE for customers around the globe.
Captain Electrical Industries announces the setting up a new plant in Maharashtra’s Palghar, with the goal of doubling its manufacturing capacity upgrading from 24,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft and creating over 250 job opportunities for the locals.
The company’s commitment to continual improvement has enabled it to grow exponentially as it embraces technological advancements and explores new trends for its customers. With the addition of this new plant, AVE will join its list of premium products.
“Consumers have become aware of the optimum use of energy resources. A rise in government initiatives for saving electricity has, in turn, led to rising demand for energy-saving lighting systems and lighting control devices. Captain Electrical Industries is committed to preserving energy resources by producing energy-saving compliant products,” a statement issued by the company said.
It adds, “Combined with operational efficiency, cost reduction plans for a buoyant supply chain ecosystem, and global outreach, thanks to 20% export volume capacity, Captain Electrical Industries is on the path towards success. As a company, we aim to double our turnover in the next couple of years.”
Commenting on the company’s expansion plan, Gopal Poojari, Managing Director, Captain Electrical Industries, said, “We are excited about the new development and are looking forward to doing better and quality business. Our developments have been aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative, and as a result, all of our products are manufactured in India. This expansion will further increase production capacity and drive our ongoing commitment to support our customers in India and across the globe.”
He adds, “With the idea of expanding, offering non-compromising qualitative products, and generating employment, we have developed three manufacturing units in Palghar district. The increasing consumer trust in our products and high demand has enabled the company to recently introduce itself in the segment of high-quality electrical wires and cables of all kinds.”
