CJI is an insulator manufacturing company, it started manufacturing with the low voltage insulator range in 1988 it was established at Khurja in UP, which is now in NCR. Over a while, CJI has achieved a level of 7500 metric tons per annum capacity, and we have achieved a level of 400 KV in all segments of distribution, and transmission we are manufacturing world-class insulators including the gray-type insulators. We have developed for the U.S. market also and we have a turnaround of around 100 crores that’s all about CJI.

How has been the journey so far?
The journey has been with a lot of ups and downs. We had to struggle a lot initially but with all the effort from our team quality manufacturing and we have achieved this level. We are now known as the first five manufacturers in the country.

What makes you different from your competition?
Our on-time delivery and quality are the main motto and somehow, we have been able to achieve it’s our customers are very happy with our on-time deliveries. They’ll never end to run to enter penalty areas though our competitors are also very good but about the delivery and quality we have become number one.

Apart from supplying solutions to the Indian market, do you have an export presence as well?
Yes, we have exports also we have indirect exports to many countries. We are supplying to Nigeria, Kenya, and Togo and now we are trying to enter the U.S. market also directly. We have developed gray glaze insulators which is a requirement of the U.S. market. And we expect to do a lot in the coming years now in the export market.

How could you match the standards of the U.S.?
With a dedicated team of professionals, the manufacturing team, and our quality team. The entire credit goes to our design, quality, and manufacturing team, and with the latest equipment that we have installed in our factory, we can cater to and meet international standards as per their global requirements.

How about your presence in India and how do you meet the requirement of Indian customers across the country?
In India,  we manufacture all insulators as per the technical specifications provided by the utilities including the power grid, NTPC, and all other SEPs and those are the standards that we meet with all the national and international standards. We can cater at par with all the leading manufacturers in the country.

Could you tell us about your manufacturing capability? What is the capacity you manufacture today?
Our capacity is 7500 metric tons and we are manufacturing up to a range of 400 KV on all segments of transmission, and distribution.

Could you tell us more about the range of products that you have already introduced in the U.S market?
Yes, we have developed this gray glaze insulator which is not so easy segment to enter into. And we have a very big target to achieve in the coming years. And we are focusing on the gray insulator market.

We are at Elecrama 2023, how is the experience so far?
This edition has been fantastic, we have a 10-billion-dollar budget this has been a glorious event and it has given us a platform and exposure to all the global buyers it has been a wonderful experience with this Elecrama.

What is going to drive the growth in the years to come?
We are expecting to grow at a level of 25 percent in the upcoming years and for that, we have to add to our capacity expansion also as well to focus on that not decided yet but definitely, we’ll have to look into the expansion.

By 2025 what will be your vision to achieve?
By 2025 we should be at 200 crores.

Why CJI?
It’s only for on-time delivery and the best quality we can provide.

What is your commitment to the company?
For quality we are 100 percent committed to our customers. What is their requirement, we want to give, we want to deliver them timely and beyond their expectation. Giving slightly better than slightly more than their expectation so that quality standard we maintain and we confirm to our customers.

What is that quality statement coming from you?
We have started exporting to the U.S. market the gray insulators. In the European market, quality is the basic requirement of the customer. So we meet and customers visited us and appreciated our product and we started supplying.
