HANNOVER MESSE launches new AI conference for industry
The new “AI in Industry” conference has been announced for 24 January 2024, taking place at the Maindock Eventlocation in Frankfurt. For numerous industrial firms, “AI” spells new business models, new technologies, new processes and new applications. At the AI conference on 24 January in Frankfurt, experts appearing in three different sessions will employ use cases to illustrate how AI will be changing the face of industry, and the steps required to remain competitive.
According to the ifo Institute, one out of three industrial companies is already using or planning to use artificial intelligence (AI). This became clear at HANNOVER MESSE 2023, where the topic of AI, fueled by the hype surrounding ChatGPT, was discussed both at exhibitor stands and the supporting conferences for the event. But AI in industry is more than just a giant language model, presenting unique challenges of its own.
Industry is curious about potential business ideas, how trained models are being deployed, and who is responsible for MLOps.
“That’s where we come in with our AI conference to offer participants the opportunity to discuss with the experts in small groups, ask questions and expand their own networks,” says Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director of Trade Fair and Product Management for HANNOVER MESSE at Deutsche Messe.
The conference is a one-day event, featuring the three sessions of Use Cases, Technology and Business. The content partners and moderators are Peter Seeberg and Robert Weber from the Industrial AI Podcast.
