- Gujarat displaces Maharashtra to become largest manufacturing hub in India
Gujarat has emerged as the biggest manufacturing hub in India with the state’s Gross Value Addition in manufacturing growing at 15.9 per cent annually on average between financial year 2012 and financial year 2020 to touch Rs 5.11 lakh crore, displacing Maharashtra. This information has recently been shared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

- Railways to install over 70 MW solar power plants on its unused land
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in a written reply in the Lok Sabha informed that Indian Railways plans to install 70.7 Mega Watt solar energy projects on the unused vacant Railway land so as to promote renewable energy in the country and make the best use of unused lands.
