Taloja and Navi Mumbai Airport decks cleared for fastest route
Construction of the Road Over Bridge on the Diva-Panvel railway line and National Highway 4 connecting Taloja and Kharghar is expected to restart soon as the possession of a land pocket required for it was handed over to CIDCO.
CIDCO got possession of the land following a court order. A court in Mumbai recently ordered the forced acquisition of a 100-metre land from a local restaurant, which objected to the land acquisition.
The CIDCO authorities are planning to complete the work within one year. With the completion of the 846 metre between Panchanand in Taloja and Kharghar node, this stretch will become the fastest route from Taloja to the upcoming Navi Mumbai international airport.

Honeywell partners with Nexceris to improve electric vehicles safety
Honeywell announced it is expanding its strategic alliance with Nexceris, developer of Li-ion Tamer lithium-ion gas detection solutions, to help make electric vehicles (EVs) safer. Honeywell and Nexceris will offer advanced automotive sensing technology to help prevent conditions leading to thermal runaway in EV batteries, a phenomenon that causes extremely high temperatures within the battery cell and can result in a fire.
The companies will collaborate with leading global vehicle manufacturers
to deliver advanced gas detection solutions in EV battery packs to allow for early intervention, helping avoid costly property damage and safety issues. In 2020, Honeywell and Nexceris formed its strategic alliance to address lithium-ion battery system safety for energy storage applications.
