IRB Infra bags Rs. 6,555 Cr order for upcoming Ganga Expressway BOT Project in UP
Highway infrastructure and toll road developers IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. has received a Letter of Award from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) for developing the Group 1 of the Ganga Expressway greenfield build-operate-transfer (BOT) project in Uttar Pradesh.
The company will develop the 129.7 kms stretch from Meerut to Badaun under Group 1 of the four groups of the project, with cost outlay of Rs. 6,555 crore, under the Design, Bid, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) model with the traffic linked expandable Concession period up to 36 years that includes 3 years for construction.
IRB Infra has already completed and commissioned its 124 kms long Agra-Etawah BOT project with cost outlay of around Rs 3,044 crore in Uttar Pradesh; and is in in final stages of completing and commissioning its 99 kms long Hapur-Moradabad BOT project with cost outlay of around Rs. 3,345 crore.
According to an official statement, with Ganga Expressway project coming into IRB’s BOT portfolio, the total order book of the Company now stands at Rs.19,210 Crores including construction order book of Rs. 12,677 crore; thus, providing revenue visibility of next three years.
