Can you provide some information about Rajoo Engineers?
Rajoo Engineers is a company established 37 years ago by the founders, my father and uncle. As a family-owned business, the second generation, comprising myself and my three brothers, are actively involved. Our primary focus lies in the manufacturing of plastic machinery, specifically specializing in sheet extrusion systems, blown film lines, thermoformers, and extrusion coating and lamination lines. Recently, we expanded our product line to include a new sheet extrusion system catering to the renewable sector, specifically for EVA and POE sheets.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
When considering competitors, this newly launched product is currently unique in India. It aligns closely with the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India). Previously, similar machinery was sourced from China or Germany. Now, with this product, India possesses the solution, enabling us to serve the market as the sole Indian manufacturer of such machines.
Can you provide an overview of your exhibits at the REI Expo?
We aim to highlight the benefits of our machinery that facilitate the production of EVA and POE sheets, essential components for encapsulating solar panels. Our technical team is present to demonstrate the intricate details of our product and its suitability within the current industry. As geopolitical dynamics evolve and price considerations fluctuate, we have positioned ourselves adeptly within the market, offering competitive solutions, which has been warmly embraced by the Indian market.
Our company’s primary focus lies in manufacturing machinery and technology, always with a keen eye on understanding market demands and addressing pertinent issues. A significant challenge arose when our solar power generation witnessed a notable 30% decline within a few months. After a thorough investigation, we discovered that nearby cement dust and particles were significantly impacting the panels’ efficiency.
After extensive research and development spanning six months, we formulated a specialized cleaning liquid named “Wattup” to effectively remove long-standing cement stains. Recognizing the widespread nature of this issue within the market, we launched Wattup as a solution. Unlike other available alternatives, Wattup effectively restores the efficiency of solar panels, enhancing power generation capabilities.
What are the upcoming plans from Rajoo Engineers?
We recently introduced a machine designed for EVA material. Looking ahead, with the expanding and evolving solar industry, our technical team is conducting extensive trials with POE and will subsequently focus on developing solutions for EPE materials. We anticipate being prepared for these advancements within the next 6 to 9 months.
