What is the core focus and mission of SANY India in its endeavor to contribute to the development of the nation?
First, let’s talk about EXCON 2023. As the largest exhibitor at the event, SANY India showcases a total of 44 machines across six verticals, marking the most extensive display at EXCON. Our stall not only boasts the largest size but also features the highest number of machines compared to other participating companies.
Shifting focus to SANY India’s vision for the nation, we have officially launched our slogan, ‘Naye Bharat Ka Nirmata.’ Our commitment involves providing cutting-edge technology and advanced machinery to contribute significantly to India’s infrastructure growth in the next 5 to 7 years. We aim to actively participate in and contribute to the country’s growth story in the next 5 to 10 years.
The focus in discussions today is on the electrification of the construction equipment industry, and your company has introduced products in this segment. Could you provide more information about these products?Considering the current environmental conditions in India, the demand for a sustainable and eco-friendly approach in the construction equipment industry is crucial. Following our initiatives at the International Mining Expo (IME), we introduced several environmentally friendly mining machinery powered by electric batteries or electrical energy.
In continuation of this commitment, we have recently launched four new machines. Among them, there is a battery-operated Container Handler designed for port usage, an electric loader, an electric excavator, and a hybrid electric crane powered through a trailing cable. These advancements offer significant advantages, primarily in reducing carbon footprints in alignment with the country’s needs.
Moreover, the operational cost of these machines is substantially lower, providing end users with savings of approximately 70% to 80% compared to the expenses incurred with diesel versions. At SANY India, we are actively pursuing the development of electric machines across various types, and we plan to gradually introduce them in India as we make progress and establish the necessary charging infrastructure.
Will the electric machines you mentioned be manufactured in India as well? Certainly. We have initiated the process. After importing some prototypes, our team is actively engaged in assimilating the technology and working towards its introduction and development in India. This involves assembly and localization efforts.
Any message for your current and potential customers?
A message to our customers: The high number of machine sales and a significant market share can be attributed to the robust after-sales support provided by SANY India. We appreciate our customers’ recognition of this support, as it contributes to their confidence in our brand.
With India setting ambitious targets for 2030 in terms of economic and infrastructure growth, what is your vision for the SANY India brand in the same timeframe?
Looking ahead to 2030, we envision the SANY India brand in a broader context. Our focus is on strengthening our identity as an Indian brand, aligning with our slogan, ‘Naye Bharat Ka Nirmata,’ and enhancing our brand value as a company rooted in India.
