Sterling Generators and PI Green: Revolutionizing Emissions
Sterling Generators, a prominent member of the Sterling and Wilson Group and a key player in India’s genset industry, has officially unveiled an innovative environmental solution known as the Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD). This groundbreaking initiative is the result of a collaborative effort with Pi Green Innovations and leverages cutting-edge filter-less technology based on Electrostatic Precipitation principles. Its primary function is to efficiently capture Particulate Matter (PM) from engine exhaust, achieving an impressive efficiency rate exceeding 70%.
Sanjay Jadhav, CEO, Sterling Generators Private Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for this product launch, emphasizing the fruitful partnership with Pi Green Innovations. He highlighted how this collaboration expands their portfolio and underscores their commitment to offering customers effective solutions that align with pollution control board regulations, thereby enhancing air quality.
Jadhav further underscored Sterling Generators’ dedication to environmental sustainability, recognizing it as a collective responsibility He emphasized their aim, in tandem with Pi Green Innovations, to redefine the industry’s approach to addressing air pollution while setting a higher standard for cleaner energy solutions.
During the launch event, Irfan Pathan, Founder & CEO, Pi Green Innovations, conveyed his honor and pride in partnering with the esteemed brand Sterling Generators. He highlighted the partnership’s dual significance in fostering India’s DG retrofit (RECD) sector and advancing Pi Green’s vision for a Pollution-Free Tomorrow.
One of the distinguishing features of the RECD is its easy installation after the DG exhaust (muffler/silencer), requiring no engine or DG set modifications. Notably, this technology stands out by repurposing the separated particulate matter as a valuable raw material for various applications, including paints, dyes, toners for laser printers and copiers, and vulcanization processes for rubber treatment. This not only eliminates the need for disposal but also mitigates secondary contamination. The product boasts all-weather durability, low maintenance requirements, and a straightforward, robust design, ensuring consistent performance and a lengthy operational lifespan.
