Tecumseh unveils energy-efficient compressor at ACREX India 2023

Tecumseh Products India is committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for its customers to meet energy regulations and environmental norms. At ACREX India 2023, the largest exhibition for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and intelligent buildings, in South Asia, Tecumseh Products India launched its energy-efficient compressors.

Venkatesh Pendam, Sr. Vice President, Tecumseh India, said, “ACREX India 2023 is happening after three years and with a gap of three years we have been talking to various customers predominantly online for the last two to three years and Acrex has allowed us to meet most of the customers in person.”

He also added, “Yesterday we launched our new compressor platform that will address both the environmental side as well as the efficiency side. These compressors can help our customers reduce their dependence on Chinese imports. We are the first company to make our 290 compressors in India which will help our customers to reduce their dependence on imports.”

Hiroshi Saito, VP – Marketing & Business Development, Tecumseh said, “We were very much excited to be back here but presently we are very much pleased that there are so many people visiting our booth and showing a very strong interest in our compressors, condensing units and we also have a partner who has a refrigerated electric cold box for the last-mile delivery and they had so much interest in those direct current electric refrigerated boxes for electric vehicles.”

He also added, “We just had a launch of a TCW which is a propane-based highly efficient compressor the first in India as well as a new line of condensing units and those are going to help the cold storage as well as the milk tank applications and then also the portable mobile applications in really strong interest from not just the end users but also the contractors, also the developers of the refrigeration equipment. We are very pleased to be back here.

Amol Monga, Co-Founder, Vaara said, “This is the last-mile delivery EV we have created. We are co-branded with Tecumseh so the idea is to deliver your goods in a temperature control manner if you want to deliver them in a refrigerated solution this is what we’ve made for you. This refrigerator works directly on the electric vehicle battery and is powered by the vehicle’s battery. And it allows people to transport goods within the first-mile and within the last-mile in a temperature control manner.”
