Germany is India’s largest trading partner in Europe and among India’s top ten global trade partners. Bilateral trade between Germany and India in 2018 was valued at more than Euro 20.41 billion. Today, more than 1,700 German companies are active in India, providing around 400,000 direct and indirect jobs.
